Family Dining Table Starts New Chapter
After four decades of faithful service, a dining table was ready for a fresh start. Hidden beneath a worn brown-black stain were the beautiful knots of pine, along with the marks of family life etched into its surface.
Stripping away the old finish revealed the table’s true character. To prepare the softwood for staining, a primer coat was applied, followed by Lignocolor’s light walnut stain. Four coats of their 1K Multi-seal were then added to protect the wood and enhance its appearance.
The table now proudly takes its place in the dining area, blending seamlessly with the chairs and dining hutch. The result is impressive—the wood’s natural beauty shines through, with subtle reminders of its previous life peeking through the new finish.
As it stands in its renewed state, the table is ready to host new memories and conversations. It’s a testament to the power of restoration and craftsmanship, showcasing the enduring quality of well-made furniture.
